Helping you foster a healthy & supportive relationship between food, movement, and yourself.
Hi!
I'm so happy you're here!
Dance was truly my gateway to fitness and nutrition counseling.
Let's have a peak at my journey.
I began dancing at the Basically Ballet Studio in Forked River, NJ in 1995 where I trained in ballet technique, pointe, and modern dance styles. Somewhere around 2005/2006 I started to assist my teacher with the Creative Movement level ballet classes. This is where I fell in love with teaching dance. Before I graduated I had already acted as a substitute on multiple occasions for all ballet classes at the studio. I have taught various classes there over the years and have been running the advanced tap & jazz program there since 2016!
2008 Beach Performance with Basically Ballet in Seaside NJ
I spent a summer when I was 16 training at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ during their summer dance intensive. This is where I decided I wanted more from dance. I wanted it to be my life and career.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University's Department of Theater and Dance in 2012.
In my time at Montclair State I was trained by many NYC professionals from the Paul Taylor dance company, Martha Graham dance company, Jose Limon dance company, and more. I intensely studies ballet, multiple modern dance techniques (Horton, Graham, Taylor, and Limon), and had additional exposure to tap, jazz, and Latin Ballroom. I received additional training on improvisation and choreography techniques, along with children's dance education.

2012: Frederick Earl Mosley's "Breath" Performed at Alexander Kasser Theater
I performed twice annually at the Memorial Auditorium and Alexander Kasser Theaters on Montclair State University's campus. I had additional performance opportunities at the 92nd Street Y in NYC, and Penn State University at the American College Dance Festival. I spent my final summer after graduating training with Frederick Earl Mosely at his annual summer dance intensive in Connecticut.
Since graduating I have co-taught and taught at a multitude of dance studios in New Jersey, and various schools in New York such as Peridance Capezio Center, the 92nd Street Y, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance
Theater. I spent 5 years as a lead dance educator in good old New York, NY (Hell's Kitchen/Hudson Yards) and Newark, NJ Charter Schools where I was responsible for the curriculum building and execution, along with production creation and execution for hundreds of children aged 5 - 13 years.
I currently run the toddler dance program at the Alvin Ailey School in Manhattan! An amazing program I was promoted to and helped redevelop in 2019. I am also so excited to now have my own toddler who takes the class with me.
I performed for various modern dance companies in central and northern New Jersey, Suffern (New York), and New York City. The companies I danced for performed in various festivals throughout New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Indiana, and Canada.
Furthermore, I am a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and avid yogi. I have truly grown to absolutely LOVE to teach acrobatic dance to children of all ages over the course of the last decade and to include elements of yoga in allof my classes for stretching and strengthening.
I am beyond thrilled to be able to blend my expertise after nearly 20 years as a dance educator, 10 years as a personal trainer, and 8 years as a nutritionist. Whether you need private lessons to strengthen your technique or to prepare for an audition, a strength training program to cross condition your technique, or nutrition education that supports your growth as a dancer, I've got you covered.
